Don’t Ignore Signs

Florida waters change frequently, and it’s always important to pay attention to any local forecasts for potential rip currents. A rip is a strong current that occurs close to beaches with breaking waves. These tend to pull people away from shore when not observed correctly.
Some Florida beaches also differ in their restrictions regarding alcohol, tobacco, pets, feeding beach wildlife, or bonfires. Make sure you read the signs at every beach entrance and do your due diligence of researching about an area as well before you go.
Don’t Litter

Parking fines can range from $20-$250, depending on the beach authority and city ordinance rules. It’s best to move your vehicle to the correct spot and not wait until you see an officer nearby. Doing this will save you and everyone else a headache while you’re enjoying your vacation.
Don’t Mess With the Wildlife
Florida is home to many incredible creatures, from alligators and sharks to manatees and dolphins. Though they may seem cute or harmless, Florida animals are wild and unfamiliar with humans interacting with them on land.
In some parts of Florida, feeding any wildlife can be a criminal misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500. This offense includes feeding Florida’s iconic seagulls, too! Animals have different nutritional requirements from that of people, and feeding birds on the beach can cause health issues. Additionally, it’s also not advisable to be attracting swarms of creatures while other people around you are simply trying to enjoy their vacation.
